After a huge chunk of time with very few events, we are so happy to see so many local events in East Yorkshire planning their re-opening in 2021, boy have we missed them! Find out what’s on in Yorkshire this August on your stay at our self-catering holiday parks in Yorkshire.

Hull Brickfest – 7th – 8th August
If you and your family are Lego fans we have just the event for you! Explore some of the best Lego displays in the UK and meet the builders. That’s not all, explore the range of incredible activities, specialist traders and so much more. Coming to Hull this August.
Hull Minster Beer Festival – 13th – 14th August
Hull Minster plays host to a major beer festival this summer. A whole host of local breweries have been added to the line up along with musical talent and food provisions at the event. ‘This is a chance to remind everyone what Hull has to offer, and welcome visitors back to the Old Town” – Richard, Hull Beer Festival organiser
Tribfest 2021 – 19th – 22nd August
Say hello to the summer’s biggest tribute band music festival in the world! Held in the stunning grounds of Sledmere House, the festival offers an ideal way to relax with fellow festival-goers while listening to your favourite music and comedy acts across 6 stages. Alongside music, there is also other fantastic entertainment across the stages for all ages.
Whitby Regatta – 21st – 23rd August
With over 170 years of aquatic competition and entertainment under its belt. The Whitby Regatta is probably the oldest sea Regatta on the Northeast coast and continues to pull in excited viewers each year. Enjoy a weekend full of entertainment, watch on in excitement at the yacht racing, rowing races and the variety of entertainment.
Great Northern Food and Drink Festival – 28th – 30th August
The food festival that celebrates the best independent food and drink in the greatest part of the country! Taking place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of August at Scampston Hall. The festival it kitted out to host 200 trader stalls with a vast array of produce for you to explore. There will be entertainment for all with live music, competitions and fairground rides at the funfair. This weekend is set to be one to remember!
Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta – 27th – 30th August
Returning with the biggest hot air balloon festival Yorkshire has ever seen, this 4-day festival includes a weekend of hot air balloons, kids entertainment, tribute bands, live music food, drink and a huge funfair! The must-see event of the festival is the popular Hot Air Balloon Night Glow, followed by a brand new firework, drone and laser show – not one to be missed.
