The Lighthouse Holiday Park is located in the historic fishing village of Flamborough, which benefits from traditional coaching inns and restaurants, set around Flamborough’s famous lighthouse. This truly is a place where you can escape life every day stresses.
The local area has stunning cliff top walks along the Heritage Coast, while you can also take relaxing, tranquil walks on our park. Try to spot the local wildlife as the walks take you through our woodland walk areas and around our well stocked carp-fishing lake – which is exclusive to our owners on the park. Whether you are a keen fisherman or just someone who likes the outdoor lifestyle, The Lighthouse is a place where you can enjoy true relaxation.
Once you have enjoyed a day exploring the local area or day fishing, why not take a stroll down to the newly built, relaxing and intimate bar, The Keepers Inn? Whether that be for a quiet relaxing drink or a handmade coffee, sit back and enjoy the atmosphere (and the free WiFi!). Our owners love the evening sunset which can be viewed on your return to your holiday home, adding to the tranquil nature of the park.

The Keepers Inn
Our welcoming on-park bar provides owners with a great place to let their hair down on an evening. Laid back, with lots of comfortable seating and a pool table it's a great place to unwind. In the summer months enjoy a drink on the patio and soak up the sun!
Free WiFi
Enjoy a free browsing service in the bar area or upgrade to your own personal connection in your holiday home. Known as DTV (Direct to Van) you get a personal connection installed.
Fishing lake
Cast a line and wait for a bite. Our stocked fishing lake includes a variety of fish for you to have a go at catching. If you are a keen angler or just wanting to give it a go, our lake is perfect. You will need your own fishing license and a permit from our reception.
Licensed shop
Our licensed shop has all the essentials you may need if you run out of bread, milk etc. It is also our reception area where you can find out the latest information, speak to someone about anything on-park and see some friendly faces!
Laundrette
Enjoying a longer break away? Don't worry about bringing suitcases full of clothes for every eventuality! Just head over the laundrette, wash and dry your clothes there!
Woodland walks
Whether you have a dog to walk or not, our lovely woodland walks make a great way to stretch your legs. Owners love getting out and walk around the lake, while there are some lovely coastal walks nearby too.
Children's play area
Let the kids play to their hearts content on the various playground equipment. Swing, slide and spinning fun for children of all ages with plenty of open space too.

Days out in Flamborough and surrounding areas
There are numerous beaches and coves in Flamborough and the surrounding areas that provide great beaches for you to enjoy during the summer months. Coastal and countryside walks are abundant and the local RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliff is a must see for everyone. You are also within a close distance to popular seaside resorts such as Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough.

Bridlington
If your looking for fun seaside activities for the kids then look no further than a day out to Bridlington. The beachside promenade is packed with kids rides and amusements or you can show off you sand castle making skills on either of Bridlington’s two award winning beaches. The harbour town bustles in the summer months and for a unique way to explore the town why not hop on one of the famous ‘Tuk-Tuk’ rides!
Filey
Just a short distance from Scarborough is the traditional English seaside resort of Filey. A holiday hotspot since the Victorian era, Filey offers golden sands and a fishing harbour village with quaint shops and cafes. Take in the beautiful views of Filey Bay or enjoy a coastal walk along the cliff top to Bempton Cliffs or Flamborough Head.
RSPB Reserve, Bempton Cliffs
Home to over 200,000 sea birds the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs offers spectacular coastal views and is perfect for those with keen eye for bird watching. The reserve has some great events and activities for children to get involved in and look out for the Backpack days which are popular with visitors.
Castle Howard
The magnificent Castle Howard labelled as one the ‘Top 10 Greatest Mansions in the World’ offers a spectacular step back in time. The splendid house and estate offers something for the whole family. Browse the 18th Century stately home, explore the extensive gardens or visit the museums and temporary exhibitions. During the summer months look out for special open air events and music concerts featuring many famous acts.
Flamborough Head Lighthouse
Take a trip around the iconic Flamborough Head Lighthouse, which gives our holiday park its name. Built in 1806, the current lighthouse acts as a waypoint for deep sea vessels and coastal traffic and marks out the Flamborough Headland for vessels heading into Scarborough and Bridlington. Tours of the lighthouse are organised by the local council
Thornwick Bay
Take the short trip to Thornwick Bay, a beautiful location on the north coast of Flamborough Head. This rocky bay is a popular spot with walkers and beachcombers and boasts an impressive sea arch in the cliffs.
Best local golf courses
If you have a passion for golf or fancy taking up the game then there are several golf courses close to our holiday park that each offer membership or guest visitor passes.
Spectacular Walks
The stunning Flamborough coast is perhaps the biggest attractions for many of our guests enjoying caravan holiday home ownership here. Many walks are focused around the coastal path, a rugged trail that winds round Flamborough Head and along the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast, heading north to Filey and beyond.
Local attractions
There is so much to see and do in the local area, including the Scarborough Fair Collection and Vintage Transport Museum which is located on one of our parks, the Flower of May! It's packed full of vintage exhibits such as fairground rides, traction engines, cars, motorbikes and so much more! In the local area, we've picked out some of the choices.
East Riding Leisure
The indoor splash park with slides and and climbing walls makes a fun day out for children and adults! There is also a gym and fitness classes if you wanted to work up a sweat while away.
Bridlington Priory
Take a visit to Bridlington and visit the impressive church of the priory. Dedicated to St Mary, it escaped the destruction that followed the dissolution of the monasteries.
Sewerby Hall & Gardens
Located just around the corner from The Lighthouse Holiday Park, Sewerby Hall and Gardens has a small zoo attached to the house and gardens. There is a land train that runs from here toward Bridlington too.
Bondville Model Village
There are over 200 buildings including a castle, ruined Abbey and Harbour; see the villagers going about their everyday lives. Watch the train pull its carriages round the village and across the river where fishing boats and cruisers are moored - all in miniature!
Bridlington Birds of Prey and Animal Park.
If it’s the animals that you love, you can also try Bridlington Birds of Prey and Animal Park. All the animals have been rescued and you can see Meerkats, Wallabies and more!
Sledmere House
Whether you just want a relaxing day looking around the gardens enjoying lunch in the Terrace Café, a family day out exploring the various outdoor spaces including the playground and horse stables or you just simply want to look at fine examples of art and architecture, there is something for everyone at Sledmere.
Living Seas Centre
Run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, the Living Seas Centre have various events on throughout the year and you can learn lots about the marine life or join in with their ‘Seashore Safari’.
