There is only space for one car per pitch, whether that is static caravans, tourers or tents. Additional cars can be parked in the overnight car park (charges may apply).
Is the swimming pool included in the price?
Yes, all residents of the park can enjoy free access to the pool while they are staying on site.
Do we need passes for the bar complex?
No, you are free to come and go from the bar as you please and there are no passes required.
How far is it to the nearest beach?
You can walk to the nearest beach (Cayton Bay) in about 20-30 minutes. Either on the old coastal road or the Cleveland Way cliff top walk. It's about 2 minutes in the car and there is free parking on the old coastal road. Scarborough is around 15 minutes drive away and Filey around 10 minutes.
Do you have WiFi?
We do! A free service is provided park wide, and you can upgrade to a faster service too. You can find out more details on our WiFi here
Is there entertainment on?
We provide entertainment every weekend on Friday and Saturday nights, with more days during the high season (school holidays). Please note, our entertainment schedule and peak season calendar is determined by the North Yorkshire County Council school holiday dates.
Can I get food on the park?
You can use our on-park mini-market for your essentials, while there are options for hot food too. We have a fish and chip shop on park, while The Plough Inn is at the bottom of the drive up to the park which serves evening meals. All have different opening times and will display them in the windows of the relevant eatery.
Static Caravan Hire - Do I need to bring my own bedding?
All bed linen is provided for you and beds are made up ready for your arrival. You just need to remember to bring your own towels.
Static Caravan Hire - Is there a DVD player?
Unfortunately we don't have DVD players in our caravans.
Static Caravan Hire - Is WiFi included?
Yes, our premium WiFi service is included when you are in your holiday home. You have your own connection for your holiday home and you can connect as many devices as you like.
Static Caravan Hire - We are coming in a group, can we have caravans together?
We don't allocate caravans until very close to your arrival. If you have a particular request please let us know in advance and we will do our best to get you as close together as possible. We have 20 caravans in total, there is a block of 10 two bedroom caravans and a block 10 three bedroom caravans which may restrict the chances if you have booked different berth from the other group.
Static Caravan Hire - is there a minimum number of nights? Do I have to come on certain days?
The minimum number of nights for a static caravan booking is 3 nights. Our breaks are 3 nights (Friday to Monday), 4 nights (Monday to Friday) or 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday). We can also do 14 night bookings from a Saturday to Saturday too.
Touring - What's included in the price?
Our prices are for up to four people and one car. You may need to pay for extras such as an awning, if you are bringing a dog (1 max), extra people or extra cars. Plus, you will need to pay for your electric and for facilities in the leisure centre.
Touring - Is electric included?
Electric hook-ups are provided on all our touring pitches. You will need to pay for your electric cards to top up the meter as the electric isn't included in the price. You can buy these from reception in £1, £5 or £10 denominations. We usually recommend roughly £3 per night, however this is an estimate and you may use more or less than this amount.
Touring - Is there a minimum number of nights?
For advance touring bookings, it's a minimum of 2 nights throughout the low and mid season, and 3 nights during the high season (school and bank holidays). If you want to come along for just one night, you would need to turn up and book in over the reception desk. We'd advise calling before you set off to get a picture of the availability.
Touring / Camping - Can we be pitched together or request a particular pitch?
We don't allocate pitches to you in advance, you are pitched on your arrival at the park. If you would like to be pitched together we will try our best where possible. Once you've checked-in, the warden will take you to a pitch, ask the warden if you have a special request.
Camping - My tent is bigger than 6m x 6m can I still come?
You'd need to call us for this query with the dimensions of your tent to hand (the berth of the tent isn't much help because all tents vary in size). At low season times we can sometimes accommodate larger tents, however in peak season it is unlikely to be able to be accommodated.
Camping - Is electric included?
Electric hook-ups are available on our camping pitches as well as non-electric pitches. You will need to put some credit on our electric cards to top up the meter as the electric isn't included in the price. You can top up the plastic card (issued at check-in) at reception with any amount you wish from £1 upwards and refund any remaining money to the card which we will refund in full pounds at check-out. We usually recommend £3 per night, however this is an estimate and you may use more or less than this amount.
