A message from Our Managing Director
As we move towards the summer holidays and our parks get busier, we are really looking forward to being able to welcome you and your family without any government restrictions in place for the first time since 2020.
We are taking a cautious approach to stepping back from the restrictions and keeping our guests and staff safe is at the forefront of our minds.
It is fantastic to be able to operate in a more normal way and ensure more people can use our facilities at their leisure, but we must be careful as we gradually move back towards how things were before the pandemic.
As COVID-19 cases and close contact isolation continues to rise, we don’t want our guests contracting the virus while staying with us. We also need to ensure our staff are kept as safe as possible so that they aren’t off work isolating and we can continue to provide the facilities and a high level of service.
With this in mind, we are asking you to continue to wear a face covering indoors and in enclosed spaces. It may no longer be a legal requirement, but we feel this helps us to keep you, our other guests and our staff safe. You may also find our staff still wearing masks around the parks, behind screens or both.
You will also find a one-way system in place in our bars, with an order point and collection point to enable us to keep a reasonable level of distancing and entertainment will return on a slightly reduced schedule. Our swimming pools will have an increased capacity again, but we are keeping up our rigorous cleaning regimes, meaning we may shut for a short period as we carry out the cleaning.
It has been a challenging time for everyone over the past 18 months and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our owners and guests for their continued patience as we continue to adapt to each twist and turn of this journey.
Graham Atkinson,
Managing Director, Flower of May Holiday Parks
