All touring pitches have metered electricity so you pay-as-you-go for your electric, while tent pitches have the option of electric or non-electric. As a rough guide, we suggest estimating £2-3 per night for your electric, depending on your usage.

Step back in time and view the stunning exhibits on show in this nostalgic attraction. It's packed full of vintage fairground rides, organs, traction engines and vintage transport too! All here at the Flower of May.
Indoor Multi Court
Keep entertained whether the weather is good or bad on our indoor multi court. Shoot hoops or score goals in this indoor soft area, where parents can watch on with a coffee.
Squash Court
Our squash court is enjoyed by holiday makers and locals alike. You can bring your own equipment or hire some from us and work up a sweat seeing who comes out on top!
Fish & Chip Shop
A seaside break wouldn't be complete without fish and chips! Our on-park chip shop serves all the tasty seaside specials you'd expect! Opening times vary throughout the year and it may be closed during early/late season.

Need to do some washing while staying with us? No problem, we've got pay-as-you-use washing machines and dyers which are particularly helpful for our private owners too!

Scarborough – the Queen of the Yorkshire coast, lies just 45 minutes from historic York situated between Whitby to the North and Bridlington to the South. The main focus to holiday makers is the golden stretch of beach which visitors flock to during the summer months. Picturesque Scarborough Castle dominates the coastal skyline and makes for an interesting day out. The area though supports many attractions beside the seaside, some of which we have highlighted below.

Explore the narrow streets and alleyways that wind through this picturesque coastal town towards the busy quayside. The picture postcard harbour is overlooked by the ruins of the ancient St Hilda’s Abbey high on Whitby’s East Cliff. Why not trek the 199 steps from the old town of Whitby that lead up to Parish Church of St Mary, the scene of which was inspiration for Bram Stoker’s famous book, Dracula.
Filey
Just a short distance from Scarborough is the traditional English seaside resort of Filey. A holiday hotspot since the Victorian era, Filey offers golden sands and a fishing harbour village with quaint shops and cafes. Take in the beautiful views of Filey Bay or enjoy a coastal walk along the cliff top to Bempton Cliffs or Flamborough Head.
Bridlington
If your looking for fun seaside activities for the kids then look no further than a day out to Bridlington. The beachside promenade is packed with kids rides and amusements or you can show off your sand castle making skills on either of Bridlington’s two award winning beaches. The harbour town bustles in the summer months.
Robin Hood’s Bay
Venture the path’s of pirates and smugglers! Robin Hood’s Bay is a maze of tiny streets and passageways surrounding an ancient fishing harbour. Legend has it that Robin Hood raided French Pirates pillaging the North Yorkshire coast and returned the loot back to the local villagers and so the name was born. Robin Hood’s Bay is a picturesque town with unique quirky appeal and well worth a visit.
Goathland Village
For fans of the TV series Heartbeat, Goathland is an essential visit. Here you can view the now infamous shops and green, the tea rooms and Scripps Funeral Service and Petrol Station all of which were familiar sights on the series. Goathland also provides a railway station with connection to the steam operated North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Castle Howard
The magnificent Castle Howard labelled as one the ‘Top 10 Greatest Mansions in the World’ offers a spectacular step back in time. The splendid house and estate offers something for the whole family. Browse the 18th Century stately home, explore the extensive gardens or visit the museums and temporary exhibitions. During the summer months look out for special open air events and music concerts featuring many famous acts.

Peasholm Park
Take a boat on the lake and walk around the Chinese gardens at Peasholm Park. During the summer, be sure to catch the iconic Naval Warfare.
North Yorkshire Moors Railway
Running from Pickering to Whitby, this steam train takes you through glorious countryside and through stunning villages.
General - Can I have more than one car by my pitch or accommodation?
There is only space for one car per pitch, whether that is static caravans, tourers, pods or tents. Additional cars can be parked in the overnight car park (charges may apply).
General - Is the swimming pool included in the price?
Yes, all residents of the park can enjoy free access to the pool while they are staying on site.
General - Do we need passes for the bar complex?
No, you are free to come and go from the bar as you please and there are no passes required.
General - How far is it to the nearest beach?
You can walk to the nearest beach (Cayton Bay) in about 20-30 minutes. Either on the old coastal road or the Cleveland Way cliff top walk. It's about 2 minutes in the car and there is free parking on the old coastal road. Scarborough is around 15 minutes drive away and Filey around 10 minutes.
General - Do you have WiFi?
We do! A free service is provided park wide, and you can upgrade to a faster service too. You can find out more details on our WiFi here
General - Is there entertainment on?
We provide entertainment every weekend on Friday and Saturday nights, with more days during the high season (school holidays). Please note, our entertainment schedule and peak season calendar is determined by the North Yorkshire County Council school holiday dates.
General - Can I get food on the park?
You can use our on-park mini-market for your essentials, while there are options for hot food too. We have a cafe and fish and chip shop on park, while The Plough Inn is at the bottom of the drive up to the park which serves evening meals. All have different opening times and will display them in the windows of the relevant eatery.
Static Caravan Hire - Do I need to bring my own bedding?
All bed linen is provided for you and beds are made up ready for your arrival. You just need to remember to bring your own towels.
Static Caravan Hire - Is there a DVD player?
Unfortunately we don't have DVD players in our caravans.
Static Caravan Hire - Is WiFi included?
Yes, our premium WiFi service is included when you are in your holiday home. You have your own connection for your holiday home and you can connect as many devices as you like.
Static Caravan Hire - We are coming in a group, can we have caravans together?
We don't allocate caravans until very close to your arrival. If you have a particular request please let us know in advance and we will do our best to get you as close together as possible. We have 20 caravans in total, there is a block of 10 two bedroom caravans and a block 10 three bedroom caravans which may restrict the chances if you have booked different berth from the other group.
Static Caravan Hire - is there a minimum number of nights? Do I have to come on certain days?
The minimum number of nights for a static caravan booking is 3 nights. Our breaks are 3 nights (Friday to Monday), 4 nights (Monday to Friday) or 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday). We can also do 14 night bookings from a Saturday to Saturday too.
Touring - What's included in the price?
Our prices are for up to four people and one car. You may need to pay for extras such as an awning, if you are bringing a dog (1 max), extra people or extra cars. Plus, you will need to pay for your electric and for facilities in the leisure centre.
Touring - Is electric included?
Electric hook-ups are provided on all our touring pitches. You will need to pay for your electric cards to top up the meter as the electric isn't included in the price. You can buy these from reception in £1, £5 or £10 denominations. We usually recommend roughly £3 per night, however this is an estimate and you may use more or less than this amount.
Touring - Is there a minimum number of nights?
For advance touring bookings, it's a minimum of 2 nights throughout the low and mid season, and 3 nights during the high season (school and bank holidays). If you want to come along for just one night, you would need to turn up and book in over the reception desk. We'd advise calling before you set off to get a picture of the availability.
Touring / Camping - Can we be pitched together or request a particular pitch?
We don't allocate pitches to you in advance, you are pitched on your arrival at the park. If you would like to be pitched together we will try our best where possible. Once you've checked-in, the warden will take you to a pitch, ask the warden if you have a special request.
Camping - My tent is bigger than 6m x 6m can I still come?
You'd need to call us for this query with the dimensions of your tent to hand (the berth of the tent isn't much help because all tents vary in size). At low season times we can sometimes accommodate larger tents, however in peak season it is unlikely to be able to be accommodated.
Camping - Is electric included?
Electric hook-ups are available on our camping pitches as well as non-electric pitches. You will need to put some credit on our electric cards to top up the meter as the electric isn't included in the price. You can top up the plastic card (issued at check-in) at reception with any amount you wish from £1 upwards and refund any remaining money to the card which we will refund in full pounds at check-out. We usually recommend £3 per night, however this is an estimate and you may use more or less than this amount.
Pods - Can we have pods together?
We don't allocate pods until very close to your arrival. If you have a particular request please let us know in advance and we will do our best to get you as close together as possible. We have 10 pods in total, in a horseshoe shape with our three 5-berth units grouped together.
Pods - What is included in the pod?
We always advise guests to treat a pod holiday like a camping holiday. There are bunk beds in the pods with a sofa-turned-bed for additional sleeping. There is no bed linen provided so you will need to bring this or sleeping bags. There is also a microwave, kettle, plug sockets and light included in the pod.
