Our family friendly holiday park offers holidays in holiday homes and we are also a first class touring park with pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and seasonal tourers.
Enjoy the modern indoor swimming pool and bar, as well as our private well-stocked coarse fishing lake makes it ideal for relaxing fishing holidays and the playground area is a safe place for the kids to let off steam.

We are an AA, five-pennant award winning campsite near York. Our pitches, in a rural country setting cater for touring caravans and motorhomes. We have both hard-standing and grass pitches, with seasonal pitches available too, providing an ideal base for your holiday or to return at your leisure. All touring pitches have metered electricity so you pay-as-you-go for your electric. As a rough guide, we suggest estimating £2-3 per night for your electric, depending on your usage.

You can view York from a different perspective, by following the historic walls. The walks cover 2 miles, but you can pick and choose which bits to follow, with information available along the way.

General - Can I have more than one car by my pitch or accommodation?
There is space for one car per pitch, whether that is or on a touring pitch or if you are staying in an Elms Holiday Home. If renting an Elms, they may be able to take an additional car depending on space. Additional cars can be parked in the overnight car park (charges may apply).
General - Is the swimming pool included in the price?
Yes, all residents of the park can enjoy free access to the pool while they are staying on site.
General - Do we need passes for the bar complex?
No, you are free to come and go from the bar as you please and there are no passes required.
General - How far is it to York city centre?
It's about 6 miles to York city centre. It can be expensive to park your car in York, so it may be worth using the park and ride system (Clifton Moor or Rawcliffe Bar) or catching the bus from just down the road from the park which will take you in to the city centre.
General - Do you have WiFi?
We do! A free service is provided park wide, and you can upgrade to a faster service too. You can find out more details on our WiFi here
General - Is there entertainment on?
Unfortunately we don't have entertainment in the bar at Goosewood. We do have Sky Sports in the bar complex so you can be sure you won't miss the big game!
General - Can I get food on the park?
You can use our on-park mini-market for your essentials, unfortunately we aren't open for food at the moment.
Elms - Do I need to bring my own bedding?
All bed linen is provided for you and beds are made up ready for your arrival. You just need to remember to bring your own towels if you are staying in an Elms Holiday Home.
Elms - Is there a DVD player?
Unfortunately we don't have DVD players in our caravans.
Elms - Is WiFi included?
Yes, our premium WiFi service is included when you are in your holiday home. You have your own connection for your holiday home and you can connect as many devices as you like.
Elms - We are coming in a group, can we have caravans together?
We don't allocate holiday homes / lodges until very close to your arrival. If you have a particular request please let us know in advance and we will do our best to get you as close together as possible. We have 5 Elms grouped together.
Elms - Is there a minimum number of nights? Do I have to come on certain days?
The minimum number of nights for a Elms booking is 3 nights. Our breaks are 3 nights (Friday to Monday), 4 nights (Monday to Friday) or 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday). We can also do 14 night bookings from a Saturday to Saturday too.
Touring - What's included in the price?
Our prices are for up to four people and one car. You may need to pay for extras such as an awning, if you are bringing a dog (1 max), extra people or extra cars. Plus, you will need to pay for your electric and for facilities in the leisure centre.
Touring - Is electric included?
Electric hook-ups are provided on all our touring pitches. You will need to pay for your electric cards to top up the meter as the electric isn't included in the price. You can buy these from reception in £1, £5 or £10 denominations. We usually recommend roughly a pound per night, however this is an estimate and you may use more or less than this amount.
Touring - Is there a minimum number of nights?
For advance touring bookings, it's a minimum of 2 nights throughout the low and mid season, and 3 nights during the high season (school and bank holidays). If you want to come along for just one night, you would need to turn up and book in over the reception desk. We'd advise calling before you set off to get a picture of the availability.
Touring - Can we be pitched together or request a particular pitch?
We don't allocate pitches to you in advance, you are pitched on your arrival at the park. If you would like to be pitched together we will try our best where possible. Once you've checked-in, the warden will take you to a pitch, ask the warden if you have a special request.
