Important information: Our parks are re-opening*
COVID19 – 3rd July 2020
The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our number one priority and we have put the following procedures in place to ensure your stay will be as safe as possible.
There are a number of safety measures and strategies that have been put in place and we strongly advise all customers to read the new COVID19 terms and conditions that must be adhered to in order to use their Holiday Home or Caravan.
What are we doing for you?
Safe check-in
We are only allowing one person from each booking in the office at any one time. There is also a limit on the total number of people allowed in the office at any time to ensure social distancing.
Reception
Screens in reception are provided to keep a barrier between you and our staff. All our staff are given PPE to wear, should they choose to.
Payments
Where possible, please use contactless payment. If this isn’t possible then we would prefer card payment and cash as a last resort. If you have a balance to pay before arrival, you can settle the balance in advance if you wish.
Hand sanitizer
We have a number of hand sanitizing stations across our parks, to help guests and staff keep their hands clean.
Cleaning
Communal areas will be cleaned more regularly than our usual rigorous standards. Doors and windows will be left open to increase circulation and reduce touchpoints. All our cleaners will be wearing full PPE and using the highest quality products. For those staying in our hire fleet – our cleaners will ‘fog’ the accommodation as they exit to completely sterilize the unit before new guests arrive. Bedding is washed at the laundry on a higher temperature than the minimum requirement.
Play areas
We have hand sanitizing stations at our play areas to ensure best practice and keep hands clean. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
What do you need to do?
Don’t travel if you feel unwell
Please do not travel if you or anyone in your party is showing symptoms of COVID-19. If you can’t travel for your holiday, don’t worry – we will offer you a full refund or give you the option to move your booking.
Complete registration documents before you visit
Anyone staying on the park needs to complete this form which details the names and contact numbers of each guest. This is a government requirement in line with their track and trace. This must be done on each visit, including for owners and seasonal tourers.
You can; download the document to print at home and post outside reception in the box provided, complete the online version of the form, or forms are provided outside each reception for you to complete.
Maintain social distancing
Please observe the government’s social distancing guidance that is currently in operation at all times. This maintains safe procedures for all our other guests and staff.
Leaving accommodation
If you are hiring an accommodation unit from us, on departure please leave all windows open. Please strip the bedding and leave in the bin bag provided.

COVID19 – 23rd June 2020
Following the Government’s announcement today, we are delighted to confirm the date of Saturday 4th July for the re-opening of our parks to Holiday Homes Owners and Seasonal Tourers*.
However, may we kindly remind Owners that the parks remain closed until then and you will not be permitted on park until 9.00am on Saturday 4th July.
As we will operate a phased re-opening, some facilities and amenities may not be available immediately. This is to ensure that we are able to operate in a way that meets with the requirements and guidance set out by the Government. The safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority.
There are a number of safety measures and strategies that have been put in place and we will be advising customers of the new COVID19 terms and conditions that must be adhered to in order to use their Holiday Home or Caravan.
Now that the date for re-opening has been confirmed we are in a position to calculate a compensatory package regarding pitch fees, and this will reflect the inconvenience of the enforced closure up to the date of re-opening. We would ask customers to wait to receive communication directly from us regarding this, to enable the matter to be dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
In the meantime, please continue to visit our website for further updated information.
Everyone at Flower of May Holiday Parks looks forward to welcoming you back.
